the MAU table takes its name from the middle egyptian word for ‘cat’, a creature that has long been regarded as both protector and companion. with an unusual beveled edge that invokes a feline silhouette, the MAU is a unique yet versatile table that can live alone, as a pair, or in playful asymmetry with its sibling, MIU.
